Hawaii and Puerto Rico Employees

Residents of Hawaii are offered coverage through Hawaii Medical Services Agency (HMSA); and residents of Puerto Rico through Triple S Salud. Both companies are Blue Cross/Blue Shield affiliates.

Eligibility

Eligibility

Medical, dental, and vision benefits are available for all full-time and part-time active employees scheduled to work at least 18.75 hours per week. Basic Life Insurance and core Long-Term Disability (LTD) are offered to all employees. If you are eligible for benefits, you may also enroll your eligible dependents, including: your spouse, civil union, or domestic partner*, your children up to age 26, and disabled dependent children over age 26 who are physically or mentally dependent on your support.

*Note: Covering a domestic partner will result in imputed income added to your paycheck per IRS regulations. Imputed income is the calculated value of the plan you are providing to a domestic partner regardless of their gender.
